Here at The Bower Byron Bay we enjoy an upbeat and supportive atmosphere in the gorgeous surrounds of our boutique hotel, located conveniently just outside of Byron Bay’s main hub. Our close-knit team is growing, and as a result, we’re welcoming applications for various guest services roles.

Reporting to the Assistant Manager and General Manager, you will assist in ensuring flawless and timely presentation of the hotel’s common areas and accommodation options.  

Our housekeeping team members enjoy a beautiful work-life balance with late starts and early finishes. Hours are generally 10am – 2pm, although may fluctuate during busier periods.

About you:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work at a fast pace
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential


  • Daily hotel room cleaning – vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, making beds, etc.
  • Reporting maintenance and repairs
  • Assisting in the laundry room
  • Ensuring mini-bar is fully stocked and in date

Reporting to the Assistant Manager and General Manager, you will assist in ensuring the smooth running of the daily operations.

As a key member of the guest services team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our guests and representing the face of The Bower Byron Bay. We’re looking for team members who are naturally kind and empathetic, with a good dose of enthusiasm and positivity!

About you:

  • Ideally, possess previous experience in hospitality or hotel reception
  • A people person, who genuinely gets a kick out of helping others and providing an outstanding guest experience at all times
  • Highly competent and friendly communicator, be it in person, over the phone, or via email
  • Take pride in your personal presentation
  • Flexible with the ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays
  • Organised and capable of working at a fast pace


  • Answering customer enquiries via phone, email and in person
  • Handling guest requests in an efficient and professional way
  • Processing guest check-in and check-out
  • Overseeing the day to day operations of the hotel
