As a part of our guest experience team, you’ll be the heart and soul of our hotel operations. We are a small but busy boutique hotel with a passion for service excellence. The ideal candidate will be kind and empathetic, an outstanding communicator with a good dose of enthusiasm and positivity.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will assist in ensuring the smooth running of the front office while delivering world-class customer service and representing the face of The Bower Byron Bay.
About you:
- Ideally, possess previous experience in hospitality or hotel reception
- A people person, who genuinely gets a kick out of helping others and providing an outstanding guest experience at all times
- Highly competent and friendly communicator, be it in person, over the phone, or via email
- Take pride in your personal presentation
- Flexible with the ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Organised and capable of working at a fast pace
Duties:
- Answering customer enquiries via phone, email and in person

Processing guest bookings, as well as guest check-in and check-out

Full training provided, however past experience with RMS an advantage
- Handling guest requests in an efficient and professional way
- Overseeing the day to day operations of the hotel
- A knack for problem solving and ability to handle a varied range of customer service enquiries
- Handling payments with precision
Hours and availability:
- This is a casual role with a look to extend for the right candidate
- Must be able to work every Sunday, plus another 2 days per week
