ESSENTIAL EATS: The Bower Team’s Fav Autumn Recipes

AUTUMN'S HERE AND IT'S SUCH A GLORIOUS TIME OF YEAR IN BYRON BAY.

The nights have a bit of nip in the air, the ocean sparkles under blue sky days and Mother Nature is at her resplendent best, whether it’s the waters gushing over Minyon Falls, the brilliant greens of the Hinterland with its quirky villages, or the lush rainforests, coastline and beaches with their myriad of walks. 

This Autumn sees lots of us with a renewed focus on creating meals at home.  Maybe it’s just an eye-catching, mouth-watering cheese platter or something more substantial.  What is a constant for us though is our commitment to creating a sustainable table wherever we can, supporting the notion of helping our environment one meal at a time.

Another constant is our addiction to recipe gathering!  It’s why we checked in with Claudine, The Bower’s Events Manager extraordinaire and Danelle, The Bower’s star Property Manager for their fave Autumn Recipes.  

When Claudine’s not coordinating bespoke events (retreats, corporate events, workshops, activations, product launches and more) she’ll be cooking up a delicious selection of foods from whole roasted cauliflower with lemon and mustard sauce to a 12-hour roast lamb with pistachio and green olive tabbouleh.  For Claudine it’s all about being creative, whether it’s crafting an inspirational event to develop big ideas, flame the creative conversation, build team spirit and refresh and renew, or plating up a sensational meal.

Danelle, whose focus is to ensure your stay with us sees you benefit from all that a luxury holiday Bower-style can deliver is the first to admit that when your workplace is a private sanctuary set amidst 4500m2 of lush tropical paradise with an award-winning round pool at its centre, creating the finest guest experience has an exceptional start.
