We love to create spaces where you can’t help but unwind and immerse yourself in the joy of a break away surrounded by Byron Bay’s extraordinary natural beauty. There are few things which please us more than creating these spaces with like-minded local businesses, and The Dharma Door is just that. Woven textures, natural fibres, natural dyes, quality sustainable materials and a superior level of quality and craftsmanship are essentials shared by us both. That and the opportunity to showcase the work of fair trade artisans from around the world such as stunning natural homewares and accessories, show-stopping wall hangings, smart storage baskets and more, each item made by hand amidst the bustle of rural life.
You’ll see lots of product from The Dharma Door’s collection at The Villas of Byron, as well as in our Bower accommodation where the interiors have been carefully crafted by styling gurus Lynda Gardener and Belle Hemming Bright of Inside Story alongside creative director Taliah Lowry. See how seamlessly selected pieces like their jute rugs, woven baskets, hemp string bags, wall mandalas and wall hangings are woven into our signature aesthetic. Bower + The Dharma Door: a united appreciation of design and function, and a vision for a brighter, kinder more sustainable future.
"We love working with Australia’s leading stores, designers and space makers. From covetable shop windows to relaxed modern spaces, we never tire of seeing The Dharma Door products in their new home. Styled to perfection, here's some of their Instagram snaps, along with a few of our favourite images."

"Our non-profit NGO partners identify these artisans and their skills and find buyers (like us) who are able to create new opportunities through thoughtful design and market access.Without access to buyers and consistent orders, these skills will be lost."
