Take it from us, not only is it very hard not to pop in for a look, it’s also extremely difficult to come out empty-handed!
Sophisticated, elegant and uncomplicated, Forme stocks women’s wear collections from Australia and across the globe. They have a tidy collection of homewares, along with bags, shoes, jewellery and bed linen.

Also ensuring you won’t have a dime left over for extra foils is the one and only Del Rainbow! Del Rainbow are first and foremost fashion distributors with a wholesale shop located next to their public store. Fashion hungry eyes and relentless requests to be let in eventually worked, as they eventually folded and opened a second public shop to meet the demand.
Del Rainbow offers a consciously curated selection of beautiful clothes, swim, accessories and a handful of homewares which represent the future of ethical and sustainable luxury.

Just as children looked forward to Christmas, Byron’s homeware addicts experienced similar feelings of anticipation with the long-awaited Tigmi Trading flagship showroom who flung open their doors on 24th December and boy, oh boy it did not disappoint.
The impressive new space operates as the brand’s headquarters with a working studio and a permanent showroom to display their much lusted-after collections. Significantly larger than their previous digs, they are now able to give their more sizable pieces the display space they deserve to be appreciated in all their grandeur.
Even if you’re not in the market for a new sofa, we recommend getting down the showroom to experience the wow factor. It’s like walking through a real-life version of Vogue Living or Belle.

Also new to Byron’s industrial estate is timber furniture specialist, Mark Tuckey. Known for his timeless solid hardwood styles, Tuckey has been championing upcycled and sustainably managed timbers for over 30 years now. So, as you can imagine, he’s fitting in very well here in Byron.
The industrial-style showroom with distinctive yellow spots on the outside features sofas, bed frames, side-tables and of course, the famous egg-cup stool, along with styling pieces from hand-selected Australian designers. Each piece, created in his Melbourne workshop, makes a bold statement while remaining functional and extremely liveable.

Situated in Bangalow is the newly launched Andean Collective, a small ethical label co-founded by Bower muse, Anita Ghise.
The designs draw inspiration from the rolling hills of Byron Bay’s lush hinterland, combined with the Andean Mountains of Peru where the clothing is made. Think greens, earthy neutral tones, soft sunset pinks and the occasional rainbow.
Each piece is handmade by freelance artisans or in small workshops consisting of only a handful of employees. They work with non-governmental organisation, Buckner Peru, who educate women in various trades such as dressmaking and embroidery, giving them the skills to not only work for a fair wage but also providing the opportunity to work from home so they can not only be with their families but also avoid commuting through the city of Lima for hours every day.
Andean is quickly becoming a firm favourite amongst the Northern Rivers locals for effortless, everyday clothing with a distinctly feminine flair.

A hole-in-the-wall bar boasting Australiana inspired cocktails and Spanish-style tapas has quietly opened its doors on Bay Lane. Spott is Bay Lane’s latest drinking hole combining good booze, snacky food and live tunes (DJs Wednesday to Sunday).
Inside it’s intimate and dark with low lighting, perfect for getting lost with your holiday-lover or significant other. Outside, they’ve taken over the sidewalk with communal tables, ideal for larger groups and meeting new friends.
The cocktail list ranges from fun and fruity, to boozy and moody. Wines are either organic or bio-dynamic with the majority being vegan friendly, and the beer is tapped by Yulli’s.
And the best part? Happy hour is 5-7pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
