NEW TO TOWN: Daughter in Law Melbourne to Byron Bay

New to Fletcher Street sits a restaurant lit up in a not too dissimilar fashion to a Christmas tree. It’s bright, very bright!

The self-proclaimed ‘unauthentic’ Indian joint, Daughter in Law Melbourne (venue’s first home), has been causing quite a stir in our sleepy little town of Byron Bay since its launch last month.

Waiters dance to a vibrant mix of 80s tunes sporadically spraying bubbles into their air as they groove and shake cocktails behind the bar. Large groups recline in boujee green and blue velvet booths while couples litter the floor and high stools in equal parts.

The vibes are high, but it’s the food that has us coming back time and time again.
